What’s the Deal?

chapterTWIST /chap-ter twist/:

1. To wind together multiple chapters from various authors so as to produce a single story.
2. An unexpected change in; or a departure from the norm, often producing great fictional works.

What’s your TWIST?

Here’s your chance. What will you choose? Will you let the creative juices flow and make the story your own by seizing control of the next chapter? Or will you let your star shine by choosing to be the subject of the next chapter? You tell us, it’s your call.

We get the ball rolling by writing the first chapter. After that, it’s fair game. You’ll pick-up where the previous chapter left off and take the story wherever you want to. Don’t like the main character? Fine, kill ‘em off. Have a great idea where it should go next? Great! It’s your story. Then, after you finish your chapter(s) it’s time for you to sit back and see where the next Twister takes it.

Would you rather be the star than the author? No problem. Answer a few questions about your “character” and our team will write the next chapter(s) for you, making you the new focus. It’s your story. Then just sit back and see where the next Twister takes it.

As each chapter is reserved, written, and finally edited they will be posted online. This way you can share with family, friends, anyone! Seriously, if you want to shout from the rooftops go ahead, we won’t mind! There are no charges or fees for reading each published chapter, no log-ins or registrations required. All they have to do is visit www.chapterTWIST.com and everyone can read your story.

Wait, there’s more! (cheesy, I know) Once all the chapters are completed; after the final chapter has been published online, the story will also be published in book format. We’re not talking about an e-book or something printed on someone’s home inkjet; but a real, honest-to-goodness, bound book. As a special bonus all Twisters that purchased chapter(s) using “Author Style” will receive recognition in a special acknowledgment page at the beginning of the book.
